System Design

Bespoke system architecture that preserves your home's aesthetic while delivering cutting-edge technology integration — invisible when idle, instant when summoned.

Architecture Before Equipment

Most integrators start with a product catalog and work backward. We start with your home's architecture, your family's routines, and your aesthetic standards — then engineer a system that fits.

Every project begins with a comprehensive site survey: electrical panel capacity, wall construction type, attic and crawl space access, existing wiring condition, Wi-Fi dead zones, and aesthetic requirements. We produce detailed system drawings before any equipment is ordered.

For new construction, we collaborate directly with your architect and builder during the design phase — specifying conduit runs, dedicated circuits, equipment closet placement, and keypad locations on architectural plans. For retrofits, we design around existing infrastructure to minimize disruption.

Design Deliverables

  • System Architecture Drawings — Full device topology, network diagram, and signal flow documentation
  • Wiring Schedules — Every cable run specified: type, gauge, pathway, termination points
  • Equipment Specifications — Model numbers, quantities, finishes, and mounting details for every device
  • Scene Programming Matrix — Every scene defined: which devices, what levels, what triggers
  • Budget Breakdown — Transparent line-item pricing: equipment, labor, programming, commissioning

Design Principles

Every system we design follows these non-negotiable principles.

Invisible Technology

Equipment hidden in dedicated closets. Speakers concealed in ceilings. Keypads flush-mounted in matching finishes. The technology disappears — only the experience remains.

Redundancy Built In

No single point of failure. If any one device fails, the rest of the system continues operating. Physical keypads always work — you're never locked out by a software crash.

Future-Proof Structure

Conduit instead of direct-burial cable. Spare capacity in every equipment rack. Open protocols that accept new devices years from now. Your system grows without replacement.

Start With Design

A well-designed system costs less to install, performs better, and lasts longer. Let's start with the blueprint.
